Thousands of spectators in front of the aQi Hotel Schladming

Skiing Star Nicole Hosp and Hotel Manager Klaus Walcher
Snowfall, slalom poles and a splendid atmosphere! (02/04/2010)
The aQi Hotel Schladming in the midst of Nightrace 2010.
Once again this year the classic event of the Alpine skiing calendar transformed Upper Styria into a pulsating cauldron. More than
50,000 spectators watched last year’s winner, Reinfried Herbst (AUT), triumph yet again. And attending the event were naturally stars of the World Cup Circus, enthusiastic skiing fans, and there was also the legendary Kesselwurst Party.
The aQi Hotel Schladming and its guests enjoyed the magic of this highlight for the second time.
It was a good insider tip that the hotel had a direct view of the finishing slope on the Planai. Indeed the ORF television station reported live from the hotel’s very own roof terrace.
Despite her time off to recover from injury the Austrian skier Nicole Hosp dropped into the
aQi Hotel. When talking to hotel manager Klaus Walcher her enthusiasm was obvious: "I have already completed my first slalom turns, and am right in the middle of preparations for my next big skiing exploits!"
