Final mountain bike stage: aqi Hotel Schladming06/05/2009
As participants of the recent Alpentour Trophy 2009 and the Schladming-Dachstein Mountainbike Festival many teams stayed at the aqi Hotel Schladming. Some of the guests included the Austrian team "Topeak Ergon Racing" who's Alban Lakata was the overall winner this year. Also fourth placed Thomas Dietsch and his team "Team La Pedale d'Alsace/Racing Team Bulls" from France were happy guests at the hotel. Hannes Metzler and Daniel Gaismayr finished in respectable 16th and 26th places from the 231 starters. And the next highlight is already lined up for September when the UCI mountain bike world cup comes to Schladming. By the by: the aqi hotel Schladming is THE ideal location for private mountain bike challenges: 20 different mountain bike courses, 3 downhill routes, 930km in bike trails and 25.000 meters height difference to be covered - what an adrenaline rush!
