How to get to Schladming
Schladming is situated in Upper Styria in the midst of the Dachstein-Tauern region with a population of around 4,500. The biggest tourism attraction is the 4-peak ski resort with its centre at Planai. Schladming is one of the top five ski resorts in the Alps and is the annual venue for the Skiing World Cup. The Night Slalom alone attracts more than 50,000 spectators. Every September since 2004 the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup has been held here.
The aqi Hotel Schladming is directly opposite the base station of the Planai-Hochwurzen lift station at the finish of the downhill Skiing and Mountain Bike World Cup.
Within three minutes walking distance are the town centre, the Schladming leisure pool, the Injoy Fitness Studio and the Dachstein-Tauern Hall.
Getting there by car
From Germany via Salzburg to Radstadt on the A10 motorway, then drive 18 km along the B320 to Schladming.
From Vienna in the direction of Linz to the intersection "Voralpenkreuz" on the West motorway, then drive along the Pyhrn motorway to Liezen, and finally 50 km along the B320 to Schladming.
From Vienna on the motorway to Semmering, then take the main road and motorway to Liezen, and finally 50 km along the B320 to Schladming.
From Italy, coming from Carinthia on the Tauern motorway (Udine-Tarvis-Villach) to Eben/Pg, then drive 18 km along the B320 to Schladming.
From Graz to Liezen on the motorway, then drive along the B320 to Schladming.
When you drive into Schladming follow the green signs to the Planai for about 400 metres – the hotel is directly opposite the Planaibahn (Coburgstrasse 54).
