Skiing & snowboarding
The area around Schladming belongs to “Ski Amadé“ with a total of 860 kilometres of ski slopes and 270 lifts. The Schladming 4-peak ski resort connects the four biggest Styrian skiing peaks of Hauser-Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm over a piste length of 115 kilometres.
The “ATOMIC Superpark“ for boarders at the Dachstein glacier enjoys an excellent reputation in the international freestyle scene. The setup offers ideal elements for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities:
Beginner park with small jumps, rails and boxes for everyone new to free-styling

Night skiing and night tobogganing
Those who appreciate night-time fun will enjoy the 7 km long illuminated toboggan run and the 3 km long illuminated piste on the Hochwurzen.

There are 166 kilometres of cross-country ski tracks around Schladming and Ramsau.

Dachstein Ice Palace
The Dachstein Ice Palace gives visitors the opportunity of delving deep into the concealed world of a glacier. A big attraction inside the Dachstein glacier are the elaborately shaped ice sculptures.
Dachstein Skywalk – the balcony of the Alps
The spectacular viewing platform crowns the 250 metre high, steep rock face of the Hunerkogel. The glass section in the floor of the platform provides everyone on the Dachstein Skywalk with an unforgettable view into the distance and into the depths.
